Through annexation of adjacent industrial land, a unique urban campus is created at Juarez High School. Academic structures, including the new performing arts addition located along the site's southern edge help buffer campus open areas from busy Cermak Road. Campus open areas include: an academic plaza and athletic fields as well as a new civic plaza located along Blue Island Ave. memorializing Hispanic heritage.
