Ruben Gil, LEED AP, AIA

Founding Principal

As founding principal of Architrave, Ltd., Ruben Gil is responsible for the business activity of the firm. Further, he personally directs the performance of client services from the design of a project through its construction. Mr. Gil has over thirty years of experience in architectural practice, with a focus on commercial and institutional project types. He was associated with several prominent Chicago firms for twelve years prior to founding Architrave, Ltd. including Holabird & Root and Graham, Anderson, Probst and White.

Mr. Gil holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois. He established Architrave, Ltd. in 1986 and has been responsible for direction of the following selected projects:
